1 package of frozen yam patties or you can use cooked and peeled sweet potato
can of chunk pineapple
marshmallows
1 tb butter
1 tb corn starch
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white syrup
1. Place sweet potato patties in 13x9 baking dish, drain juice from can of chunk pineapple, save juice and place in a sauce pan, pour chunk pineapples over the yam/sweet potato patties.
2. Add 1/2 cup brown sugar, white syrup, butter and cornstarch, blend to disolve the cornstarch, heat untill boiling. Pour over yam patties and pineapple chunks.
3. Place in a 350 degree over for 30 minutes, remove and place miniature marshmallows on top, place back in oven about 5 minutes or untill marshmallows are brown.
