(NewsCore) - A man accused of going on the run after carrying out a series of bizarre buttock slashing attacks on young women in Virginia was in custody Saturday after being arrested in Peru.
Police issued a warrant last September for Johnny Guillen, 40, who is suspected of knife attacks on 13 women in Fairfax County stores between February and July last year.
Guillen, who is known as the "Corta Nalgas" ("butt cutter"), was captured Friday in Lima, Peru's America TV reported.
His alleged US victims were all teenagers or women aged in their early 20s who were slashed while shopping at busy stores or in malls.
Guillen was identified by a member of the public from stills of surveillance footage captured at the stores.
