Excessive Heat Watch in Effect

PHOENIX - This weekend, there is an excessive heat watch in effect. In the Valley, temperatures are expected to be 109 to 115 on Saturday and 110 to 117 on Sunday.

The heat advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. Monday.

To beat the heat, wear loose-fitting clothes, light colors, and a hat. Stay in the shade, use air conditioner and fans, and drink plenty of water.

If you have to do outdoor activities, do them in the early morning.
