The drivers' side of a taxi cab is all banged up after it collides with an oncoming light rail train.

TEMPE - Around 6:45 p.m. Sunday, a taxi cab made an illegal U-turn and hit an oncoming light rail train in Tempe.
It happened at the intersection of Apache and Price. There was a sign up that prohibited U-turns.
The driver of the taxi was taken to Scottsdale Osborn Hospital with minor injuries.
Light rail service was suspended momentarily, but is now back in service. The light rail passengers were transferred to another car.
