Wrong Way Driver Hits SUV in Goodyear

GOODYEAR - DPS says a truck and an SUV have collided head-on on I-10 in Goodyear.

One of the vehicles apparently crossed over the median and hit the SUV going the opposite way near Cotton Lane on I-10 just before 4 p.m. Tuesday.

There were only one passenger in each of the vehicles. A medical helicopter transported those two victims to an area hospital in serious condition.

Traffic in the eastbound lanes was slow-going but flowed freely within about an hour.
