Tempe Man Missing with Non-Custodial Son

CHANDLER - A non-custodial father and his 9-year-old son are missing after failing to return after a court-ordered week-long visitation.

James Anthony Kaiser and 9-year-old Benjamin Kaiser-Griffin haven't been seen or heard from since May 21.

Kaiser's Tempe residence is vacant, leading investigators to believe he's moved away.

Chandler Police think Kaiser and the boy may have moved to Hawaii, because he has expressed wanting to live there and has taken Benjamin in the past. He also has contacts in Washington and Mexico.

The boy's mother has full custody, and Kaiser is only allowed court-ordered visitations.
