CASA GRANDE - Two valley dogs are in need of a foster home, due to the war in Iraq.
The yellow labs, named Wyatt and Storm, were turned into Pinal County Animal Care and Control, after the people that were watching them said they were allergic and could no longer care for them.
Their owner is currently serving in Iraq.
The problem is, the shelter does not know who the current owner is.
"In a case where we know it is a soldier, our hope is that he can be reunited with him to help him reintegrate back into society when he comes home, because it is a shocking transition to come back after being in a place like that," says Jason Rieker from Helping Orphan Hounds.
Wyatt and Storm are safe, thanks to Boulder Falls Pet Resort. The business offered to board the two pups while the search for their owner continues.
But the boarding facilities' busy season is coming up, so a foster home is needed until their owner comes home.
