It's billed as the first of its kind in the world, and it's right here in the valley.
The people behind the Musical Instrument Museum, or the MIM, say they are trying to celebrate the diversity of the world's cultures through music.
It's home to some 3,000 instruments and artifacts from around the world, and there's also a gallery featuring the instruments of some world-renowned musicians.
And a walk through the modern facility, just off the 101 in north Phoenix, is both educational and fun!
FOX 10's Kari Lake reports.
