A confrontation between a Tempe pastor and a Department of Public Safety officer is caught on tape.

Tempe pastor Steven Anderson had his camcorder rolling when he was pulled over last month.

When Border Patrol officers stopped his car at a border checkpoint, Anderson refused to get out, starting a 75-minute standoff.

DPS responded to a request for assistance from the Border Patrol, and a DPS officer shattered the pastor's car window and Tased him at a checkpoint on Interstate 8 near Yuma.

Anderson refused to answer their questions or let them search his car, believing they were violating his 4th amendment rights.

"Well the only point I was trying to make is that I have the right to travel within the United States without being searched arbitrarily at random," says Anderson.

The struggle left Anderson bloody and bruised, and Anderson posted the video on YouTube .

DPS says it is investigating the incident. Meanwhile, Anderson says he is planning to sue.
