An Oregon cheerleader knocked unconscious during last weekend's University of Arizona football game in Tucson is breaking her silence.
Someone in the stands hurled an unopened water bottle towards the field and it hit her in the head. It happened at the end of the double-overtime loss in Tucson.
Wildcat fans stormed the field after Oregon won.
Cheerleader Katelynn Johnson was knocked cold.
"I got hit, and then they told me, told the entire team to grab our stuff and go to the middle because I'm assuming they saw things that were going on… trying to get us safely out of there and once I got out of there I think it finally hit me."
The senior sociology major hopes to be cheering again by this coming Saturday's basketball game.
