Free Ice Skating at Tempe Marketplace

Ice-skating and the desert aren't usually mentioned in the same sentence. But new this holiday season, you and your family can go ice-skating at Tempe Marketplace -- and this weekend only, it's free!

Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., skaters can enjoy some family fun. Skate rental is available and there is no charge.

But don't worry, you won't catch a chill. It's not real ice. The rink is self-sustaining -- it's not powered by electricity, adapts to any climate, and is environmentally-responsible.
