Teenager Dies When Pushed Into Street

PHOENIX - A teenager has died after being hit by several cars -- and police say there's reports he was intentionally pushed into the street.

The 15-year-old was hit by two cars -- one of them left the scene.

The area near 35th Ave and Southern has been blocked off since about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday as police investigate.

"He ran into the street, and witnesses tell us that he may have been pushed in front of the vehicles that were traveling northbound on 35th Ave," said Lt. David Laslavic.

Police are still looking for several males who may have pushed the teen into the street. They brought in a police K-9 to try and track the scent.

The victim has not yet been identified.
