Girl Hit By SUV While Getting Ice Cream

A little girl is recovering after she was hit by a vehicle while her family was trying to get a sweet treat.

The 2-year-old girl and her family were buying ice cream from an ice cream truck. The toddler then wandered away and was hit by a sport-utility-vehicle near 135th Avenue and Dysart.

She was knocked unconscious. The good news is that she'll be okay.

Sheriff's deputies say the driver of the SUV won't be charged.
