Drunk Driver Causes Wrong-Way Crash

Four people are injured, two of them elderly women, after a head-on collision at Indian School Rd and 86th St. Saturday morning.

Around 11:10 a.m., a woman in a Lincoln sedan left a private driveway going the wrong way on Indian School. The Lincoln struck a Honda SUV with 3 occupants head-on.

The driver, 36-year-old Luann Chough, has been charged with 3 counts of aggravated assault, endangerment, and DUI. Chough was not seriously injured.

Indian School Rd was closed from Granite Reef to Pima Rd for the investigation.
