A man breaks into a Paradise Valley home and gets away with a Porsche!

It all happened at a home near Scottsdale Road and Doubletree Ranch. Police say the suspect got into the home through an unlocked back door.

The suspect held the homeowner at gunpoint and tied him up.  The thief then grabbed some money and jewelry before getting into the Porsche and driving off.

Homeowner Mike Russell was shocked. "Well I was just in my family room. A guy burst through the door wtih a gun telling me to get down on the ground... he put a gun to the back of my head, asked me if anyone was there, I said no, then he tied me up and ransacked the house."

Russell says the gunman ransacked the house for about 15 minutes before he took off in Russell's 2007 Porsche Cayenne SUV. Russell also says, the crook was considerate.

"I asked him if he could just take the key to the car, and took the time to take it off the ring, and put it in my pocket which was kind of strange," he says.

Police are now looking for the suspect and the car.

Paradise Valley Police say they've had reports of five armed home invasions recently. The first one occurred near Lincoln and 42nd St, while the following four were scattered around Doubletree Ranch and Scottsdale Rds.  All of them happened between 8 and 11 p.m.

Police believe the same man is linked to all these crimes.

The burglar was wearing black clothes and a ski mask. He's white, appears to be in his 30s, and is stocky.
