The owner of a Phoenix animal rescue service has been re-arrested on 142 counts of animal cruelty and neglect.
Sheriff's deputies originally arrested Diane Habener on Nov. 2 after investigators found animals with insufficient water and shelter.
A sheriff's office document shows Habener was re-arrested for animal neglect, abandonment and failure to provide animals with medical treatment.
97 dogs and 18 cats were seized by Sheriff's deputies after it was decided she was not providing enough water and shelter for the animals.
Habener had operated Tuffie's Animal Rescue since 2004.
