PHOENIX - Imagine getting a call at 1:00 a.m. stating that all of the alarms at your business are going off.
That's what happened to Arrow Pawn and Jewelry's manager.
The alarm was triggered by the store's sprinkler system following a fire near 27th Avenue and Thomas Road.
The shop hired a company to clean up the water damage and the stock was put in a storage area.
Apprently, a spark from a fan started the fire in a bathroom.
Most of the damage was caused by water because the sprinklers went off to put out the flames.
Arrow Pawn is a family-run business that's been in the valley for years.
The owner says the store has insurance.
"I'd like all the customers and clients of Arrow Pawn and Jewelry to know that their merchandise is safe..the damage looks like it was only to the inventory on the sales floor..so anybody who has any products here..they don't need to be worried, they don't need to run down, everything's going to be okay." said Justin Volckman.
