Woman Struck by Car in Critical Condtion

A woman who was hit while crossing the street Saturday is still in extremely critical condition at a valley hospital.
Phoenix Police say that 28-year-old Allison Bieber was hit while trying to cross the street, near 32nd St. and Osborn. Sgt. Tommy Thompson says she not in a crosswalk.
The driver stopped after the accident. It's not known whether or not the driver will face charges.
Sgt. Thompson says mid-block jaywalking happens far too often.
