PHOENIX - Investigators believe Saturday's fire on a woman's balcony was started when a neighbor tossed a lit cigarette from another balcony.
It happened Saturday at Landmark Towers near Central Ave and Camelback. About 50 people had to be evacuated.
Resident Denise Munson was not home at the time of the fire, and was in the middle of remodeling the 7th floor condo. Building materials and cabinets were lost in the fire.
"Breaks my heart," says Munson. "They really set my dreams back a lot. And financially, it's not easy for me, and everybody right now."
Munson didn't have insurance, and investigators say there is about $6,000 in losses.
