Tempe Man Gets 6 Years in Prison for Child Porn

A former flight attendant from Tempe has been sentenced to six years in federal prison for distributing child pornography.

Marc David McCabe was sentenced on Monday after pleading guilty to one count of distributing child porn. He will be on supervised release for life once he completes his sentence.

The U.S. attorney's office in Phoenix says the 41-year-old came to the attention of authorities after sending child porn to an undercover agent with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement through the Internet. Numerous images and videos of child pornography were then found by agents searching his home.

The agent was assigned to Operation Predator , a nationwide ICE initiative to identify, investigate and arrest people who prey on children.
