Sen. John McCain has picked up two key endorsements in his run for re-election as Arizona's senior senator.
His campaign announced Friday that former Republican Govs. Fife Symington and Jane Dee Hull have endorsed McCain.
Symington says McCain promotes pro-growth policies needed to create jobs. Hull says McCain's commitment to Arizona is unmatched.
In 1999, when she was governor, Hull endorsed George W. Bush for president over McCain. Hull cited Bush's character, experience and vision for the future in choosing Bush over McCain.
This time, McCain is running against former U.S. Rep. and radio talk show host J.D. Hayworth in the Republican Senate primary.
