Medical helicopter lands in intersection

SUN CITY - MCSO is on the scene of a shooting in a residential Sun City neighborhood.

Deputies are investigating the shooting, which was reported about 5:15 p.m. Wednesday near 99th Ave and Olive.

A man is said to be in extremely critical condition. A medical helicopter landed in the middle of an intersection to transport the victim.

It appears that the gunshot wound was self-inflicted.
