MyFox Phoenix Report
Two Glendale police officers have resigned in light of accusations that one of them had sex with a female coworker while on-duty.
According to an internal investigation, Officer Adam Fisher had sex with police records employee Shannon Godina while on-the-clock. It allegedly happened three to five times at her home last year, while he was on patrol.
Police say Godina confessed to having sex with Fisher because she wanted to leave the records office and become a police officer. She was fired.
During the year-long investigation, police also found that Fisher and officer Daniel Arreola were doctoring time sheets and sending sexually and racially offensive messages to other officers.
Both Fisher and Arreola resigned after receiving a notice from Glendale Police Chief Steve Conrad of his intent to fire them.
The department says they have put an electronic time sheet system in place so that this type of fraud can be avoided.
