GLENDALE - A Glendale father is accused of killing his wife and daughter and his son is still hospitalized after the weekend's brutal stabbing .
Michael Miller, 29, will be charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of attempted murder for the deaths of his 28-year-old wife Adreana and 10-year-old daughter.
Officials say his 4-year-old son Brian is in stable but critical condition . There are other relatives nearby who can care for him.
Adreana Miller's cousin Cristina tells FOX 10 that Michael Miller was quiet and had tried to commit suicide at least once before. But that time, Adreana stopped him.
Miller told Glendale Police he suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. He told police he and his wife fought about him not getting any sleep, saying he stabbed his family because he "was possessed."
Karen Chavira knew the victims. "Yeah you could tell there were lots of problems. He used to come out and smoke a lot and yell at his own wife, even at her own birthday party, he got arrested."
Records show that police arrested Miller in 2004 for domestic violence and again last year for disorderly conduct.
