Amber Alert Canceled, 6-Year-Old Safe

FLAGSTAFF - Flagstaff Police have canceled an amber alert after finding the missing 6-year-old boy.

Brady Travis, 6, was allegedly abducted by his father, 49-year-old Michael Travis, over a custody dispute early Monday morning. Police say the suspect had called the police department saying he would harm the child.

Monday afternoon, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office found Michael Travis in a home in Mohave Valley and after a short negotiation, the boy was released unharmed.

The boy's mother is traveling to Mohave Valley to be reunited with him.

Michael Travis is being held by Mohave County authorities pending criminal charges.
