PHOENIX - Sheriff Arpaio is no stranger to debate -- he argues his viewpoints often. But Sunday, a different group of people were asking the questions.
The Sheriff took park in a debate with dozens of students from high schools all over the state, along with other 2010 political candidates and officials.
The topic was assessing American influence, and exploring the candidates for Arizona statewide offices in 2010.
Organizers say many students are getting involved in politics.
"Our main purpose is just to get the young leaders to do what they're good at, you don't even have to like politics to come and join us," says Carolina Ramirez of the Junior Statesmen of America.
The Junior Statesmen of America is celebrating its 75th anniversary.
