Ex-Teacher Charged in Minor Sex Case

MESA - Claire Elizabeth Livesay, the former teacher who was convicted of three counts of sexual conduct with a minor, will spend four months in jail and undergo 14 years of supervised probation.

The incidents happened between June and August 2008 at the girl's home. Livesay was her mentor.

26-year-old Livesay will also have to register as a sex offender.

Livesay taught at Carson Junior High in Mesa -- the 16-year-old girl went to a different school.
