DOUGLAS, Ariz. - Officers with Customs and Border Protection have arrested a 34-year-old child sex predator at the U.S.-Mexico border.
When the U.S. citizen from Phoenix attempted to enter the U.S. on foot, a records check revealed he had multiple warrants out for failing to register as a sex offender and escape from community custody.
CBP officers found he was also convicted in 2002 in Seattle for 3 counts of child sex assault.
The suspect was turned over to the Douglas Police Department for extradition.
His name is not yet available.
