A Yavapai County Sheriff's Office deputy stops a car on Interstate 17 near Cordes Junction and finds nine pounds of methamphetamine and cocaine.

52-year-old Judy Dieter and 53-year-old Joseph Schaefer were arrested.

They're from Nebraska and were stopped for speeding.

The deputy became suspicious and a drug sniffing dog was called in.

The drugs were found hidden behind a door panel and in a wheel well.

Dieter and Schaefer were charged with one count each of Transportation of Dangerous Drugs for Sale. They were booked at the Camp Verde Detention Center and remain in-custody on a $150,000 bond.
