Girlfriend Arrested in Man's Stabbing

MARICOPA, Ariz. - A 38-year-old Maricopa woman has been arrested in the domestic stabbing of her boyfriend.

Around 1 a.m. Tuesday, Maricopa Police Officers responded to an apparent domestic dispute in the 45000 block of West Lexington Ave.

A 51-year-old had been stabbed in his chest, and was taken to a Phoenix hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Over the course of the investigation, Maricopa officers identified the suspect to be 38-year-old Cindy Coffin, the victim's live-in girlfriend.

Coffin has been booked at the Pinal County Jail on charges of aggravated assault/domestic violence.

The victim has been treated and released from the hospital. He's expected to be ok.
