SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - A man is accused of stealing items out of gym lockers.

Police say they've been keeping an eye on 34-year-old Jeremy Carter and arrested him Tuesday morning after following him to a fitness center in Tempe.

Scottsdale detectives watched Carter's actions and believed he had committed a burglary from a locker at that location.

Officers later conducted a traffic stop after Carter left the fitness center. Evidence was found inside his vehicle.

With a search warrant, police searched Carter's Scottsdale home. More evidence was found linking him to numerous locker burglaries throughout the valley.

Carter faces burglary, theft, drug and weapons charges.
