GLENDALE - A man has been indicted on first-degree murder and other charges in last month's slaying of a former Wisconsin resident whose body was found in a trash container outside a Glendale apartment complex.
Maricopa County prosecutors say 24-year-old Miguel Angel Sanchez also is facing charges of kidnapping, armed robbery, burglary, arson and credit card theft.
The body of 25-year-old Paul Kapitz was found Oct. 27. The county Medical Examiner's Office identified the body through dental records provided by Kapitz's family in Wisconsin.
The Sheboygan native had moved to the Phoenix area to pursue a career as an auto mechanic.
Police say Kapitz had been working at a Phoenix Nissan dealership and Sanchez was a co-worker.
Sanchez was arrested in the case Nov. 2 and indicted Monday by a county grand jury.
