Couple Arrested for Dealing Drugs, Child Abuse

BULLHEAD CITY - Two people have been arrested on drug-related and child abuse charges in Bullhead City, Ariz.

On Friday night, police found two pounds of marijuana, five pipes, a digital scale, a pay sheet and marijuana grinder in an apartment after serving a search warrant. The couple's 2-month-old daughter was found in the home.

Frank Contreras, 29, and his girlfriend, 20-year-old Nicole Irene Childs, were arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and child abuse. Contreras was also charged with possession of marijuana for sale.

The baby has been placed in the custody of an aunt.
