NOGALES, Ariz. (AP) -- Federal agents seized nearly 3,500 pounds of marijuana concealed in a trailer carrying squash in southern Arizona Tuesday night.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents acted on a tip about the mysterious appearance of a semitrailer at a Rio Rico warehouse.

Agents responded, established surveillance and determined the trailer was out of place.

They obtained consent from the warehouse manager to enter the trailer and conduct a search.

Agents found 156 vacuum sealed packages hidden among the squash.

Several of the packages were probed revealing a green leafy substance that later field tested positive for marijuana.

Agents confiscated the pot, with an estimated street value of $7.6 million, and turned the squash over to the consignee.

No arrests have been made.
