Rib-Eating Contest Pits Police Against Firefighters

GILBERT - Gilbert Police and Fire faced off Wednesday in a rib-eating contest, all in the name of charity.

They scarfed down as many ribs as they could at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant near Power and Ray.

Weather authority Jayme King emceed the event.

In the end, the firefighters won, and they got a trophy to show for it.

10 percent of the sales for the entire day will be donated to their favorite charity.
