SCOTTSDALE - School districts are advising that students with underlying health concerns, like asthma, get their H1N1 vaccination -- because those health issues can lead to complications if they got the swine flu.

So Saturday at Scottsdale-Osborn Hospital, schoolkids spent time in line to get the shot.

"In January, February, March his asthma really hits him hard, and we just wanted to make sure that if he did come down with the swine flu he wasn't going to have it further complicated by his asthma," says Steve Coatney about his son Cal.

"If you add to that that the fact that they already have an underlying medical condition that has weakened their immune system, that makes them at even greater risk for having complications related to the virus," says Jayme Ambrose with Scottsdale Healthcare.

Hundreds of people with young kids showed up for the Saturday morning immunization clinic, though not everyone was there for the swine flu vaccine.

Scottsdale-Osborn will do another clinic the first Saturday in December.
