GLENDALE - The Arizona Medical Board has suspended the medical license of Dr. Robert Teague, after finding that he wrote prescriptions when he wasn't supposed to.
The 45-year veteran doctor had signed an agreement back in May, saying he would no longer prescribe medication due to a health condition.
But the board said that between May and June, he wrote prescriptions for medications including Oxycodone, Methadone and Oxycontin.
Costco tipped off the medical board after a patient filled a suspicious number of prescriptions.
Dr. Teague worked at a family practice near 75th Ave and Bell in Glendale.
