WIGWAM RESORT

Free 4th of July celebration, fireworks spectacular and Great American Picnic at the Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa located in the West Valley of Phoenix.

4-9 p.m. on Saturday, July 4, on the resort Front Lawn. The event includes hayrides, historical tours, fireside smores, a display of the latest military vehicles and equipment from the 944 Reserve Wing stationed at Luke Air Force Base, an F-16 flyover and a fireworks spectacular at 9 p.m.

The Great American Picnic will also feature a family-style BBQ cookout with live entertainment from 5-9 p.m. for $15/adult and $9/children under 10. In addition, the resort is offering a special Great American Picnic hotel stay package from $109, with each additional night just $50, that includes two adult and two child tickets to the cookout and premier firework seating. TUMBLEWEED PARK CELEBRATION IN CHANDLER

Tumbleweed Park, 4 pm free rides for the children, live music, food, fireworks at 9:30 pm, free, $5 per vehicle for on-site parking, 480-236-9123 or www.visitchandler.com Fireworks AT 9:30PM.  Park Admission is Free. Parking is $5, and other activities or vendors may charge. Celebrate America and our heritage at this fun and festive Independence Day event for the entire family. The festivities are being held at the expanded Tumbleweed Park, and they are being presented by the Chandler Lions Club and the City of Chandler. The Cactus Bike Push, Pull, Peddle Bike Parade will be held at 6 p.m., with each registrant receiving a free gift. The participant with the bike that is decorated best will win a Harro children's bike. Many additional activities surround the event, including live music, a free kids carnival, and food and beverage vendors. Activities include a 35-foot water slide, a rock-climbing wall, a dunk tank, and assorted water games and interactive amusements for kids. Finally, for the adults, The Arizona Veteran Rodders Club will have more than 100 classic cars on display.


JULY 4TH TEMPE TOWN LAKE FESTIVAL

Fireworks Spectacular, concert event stage, live music, inflatable kid's Ride village, vendors, water fun and games for the family, $8 or $15 for two, under 12 free, 4-11 pm, www.tempe4th.com Fireworks at 9PM.  Items allowed inside the event: 1 gallon of sealed water per person. Blankets, portable chairs, personal cameras and personal umbrellas - up to 48 are permitted. Items not allowed inside the event: No firearms, knives or other weapons. No food or coolers. No skates, bicycles or skateboards. No pets (service animals are permitted). All persons and bags are subject to search. Entry is free for anyone showing a current military ID.


GILBERT OLD-FASHIONED 4TH OF JULY

There is something for everyone to enjoy including contests, games, inflatables for the kids, community exhibits, and our grand finale fireworks display at approximately 9:00pm. Gates open at 4:00pm. There will be a charge for refreshments, rides, novelties and amusements and we are not able to accept credit cards or checks.

This is an alcohol and tobacco free event. Chairs, blankets and umbrellas are welcome. Coolers will be inspected for sealed water containers. Pets, alcoholic beverages, tobacco, glass containers and weapons of any kind are NOT allowed on the grounds. Overnight camping, open fires and barbecues are also prohibited. Baby bottles are permitted.

SURPRISE FIREWORKS

Celebrate the Fourth of July with the City of Surprise at Surprise Stadium, where baseball and fireworks are part of the fun!

The 27th Annual 4th of July Celebration will take place on Saturday, July 4, 5 p.m. - 8:30p.m. Admission is free with the donation of a canned food item, one per person, to benefit the Valley View Community Food Bank. Space is limited, so tickets will be required for entry to this years event. You may pick up your free tickets in advance at the Community & Recreation Services Office, 15960 N. Bullard Avenue. Surprise Stadium is located at 15850 N. Bullard Avenue.  This year's event will feature a Rookie League Baseball Game with the Texas Rangers taking on the Chicago Cubs. Kids can have fun in the Kid Zone with giant slides, obstacle courses, face painters and balloon twisters.


PHOENIX FIREWORKS

2nd Annual Freedom Wireless Fabulous Phoenix Fourth - Help celebrate our country's freedom once again at Steele Indian School Park, 3rd Street and Indian School Rd. The fun will begin at 6 p.m. with an expanded fireworks display beginning at 9:30 p.m. There will be two stages of entertainment, Kids World area, Classic

The Earl E. Mitchell Patriots Color Guard will be raising the American flag at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center this Independence Day on July 4 at 8 a.m. on the 7th Street side of the VA. The flag, to be donated by the American Legion Post 29 of Glendale, AZ, had previously been flown in Iraq over the Green Zone Command Post in Baghdad. At approximately 6 p.m. on July 4, the Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) will have staff on hand at the Fabulous Phoenix 4th of July celebration to let veterans and others know about their services and benefits.

LITCHFIELD PARK

The evening activities are kicked off at 7pm with entertainment, food and beverages followed by an F-16 flyover and fireworks at the corner of Old Litchfield Road and Honeysuckle Street. The F-16 flyover is scheduled to take place between 7:00 and 7:30p.m. and the fireworks show will begin at 9:00p.m. Admission is free. Please bring your own chairs or blankets for seating. No alcohol or glass containers allowed.


CAVE CREEK FIREWORKS

Saturday, July 4: The Silver Spur Saloon at Frontier Town, 6245 E. Cave Creek Road, hosts the Towns Fourth of July Fireworks Display at sunset. Fireworks will be shot off behind the Post Office with open seating in Frontier Town and its East parking lot. Festivities include an outdoor barbecue (hamburgers and hot dogs), live music, a dunk tank, and more. Admission and parking is free. Dinner reservations are highly recommended. 21st ANNUAL INDEPENDENCE DAY NATURALIZATION PHOENIX

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and South Mountain Community College will welcome more than 200 Valley residents as new U.S. citizens at the annual 4th of July naturalization ceremony. The Fiesta of Independence is the home-grown effort of community groups in the South Mountain Village, in conjunction with USCIS. Fifty citizens were sworn-in at the first Fiesta of Independence in 1989. LOCATION: The South Mountain Community College Gymnasium - 7050 S.24th St. (north of Baseline Rd.) The gym will become an official courtroom with a presiding judge.


AHWATUKEE FIREWORKS

"Red, White and Boom", a Fireworks Celebration will be held Friday, July 3rd at 9 p.m. at the Ahwatukee Country Club, 12432 S. 48th Street. Gates open at 7 p.m. The Phoenix Police Department is closing 48th Street between Ahwatukee Drive and Warner from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. There will be restricted access to residents only between Elliott and Ahwatukee Drive from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Parking will be available at The Lakes Golf Course and a shuttle from Mountain Pointe High School to the fireworks will be available free of charge.
