PHOENIX - Hey, single ladies in Phoenix -- you have it made when it comes to men, according to Rent.com.
Rent.com ranks Phoenix as the best place in the country for a bachelorette.
But what are local women and men saying?
The Scottsdale bar district is a hot spot on the social scene and a great place to meet people. Apparently, women have it much easier then men.
Phoenix tops the list for single ladies looking for love. One of the reasons: there are more eligible men and women, and more available men for women to choose from.
"I think it's a great survey, it gives me and other women hope in the valley," says Heather, a single Phoenician.
Another reason: the valley is comparatively a cheap place to live. Younger people can afford a better lifestyle. But that's not all.
The sunshine, the palm trees, and Camelback Mountain are all part of the package.
A lot of great dates include outdoor activities like picnics and hiking.
Professional match maker Roseann Higgins says women need to make the most of this.
"Get out of the house and go and find things you like to do where men are going to be and get there and do it when the most people are going to be there," she advises.
Most men will tell you it doesn't take much to get their attention. Robert says women should "just say hello."
Rent.com calls our dating scene here in the valley both "exhilarating and posh." Seattle came in second, Austin, Texas third, followed by Denver, Washington D.C., Chicago, Los Angeles and Vegas, and New York and San Jose round out the list.
